Website Accessibility

The W3C is an international consortium whose aim is to bring the Internet to its full potential, through the establishment of standards and guidelines which will ultimately ensure its constant development. Over 80 of these standards have already been published, such as HTML, XML, XHTML and CSS standards.
Hosting the W3C initiative in Brazil represents an investment in the development of the Web and its conscious and organized use.
The W3C in Brazil promotes lectures in universities, public agencies and entities from the private sector. It translates the main documents produced by the international W3C into Portuguese and maintains an open channel for discussions regarding the use of web standards and the promotion of initiatives, such as mobile Web, Web semantics, Electronic Government, Accessibility and others.
